The Rural Development and Land Ministry (KKDW) of Malaysia will assess and repair damaged homes in rural areas affected by floods. Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, announced that the ministry will launch an immediate flood relief charity fund and will provide assistance in the form of financial aid or essential goods. A nationwide squad named Ihsan Madani will be formed to focus on post-flood recovery efforts.
