Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi expressed condolences to the family of Tuan Mohd Zakaria Tuan Ismail, who was electrocuted and killed at Kampung Banir Belikong, Selising, Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, yesterday. In a Facebook post, he urged Malaysians to remain vigilant and prioritize safety in flood-hit areas or near damaged electrical equipment. The victim, a 35-year-old mechanic, died at the scene.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also the National Disaster Management Committee chairman, emphasized the government's commitment to public safety and disaster preparedness. He advised individuals to follow evacuation instructions promptly and to secure important documents
