Wan Abdul Rahman Hamdan of Terengganu Cycling Team (TSG) surprised everyone by winning the Grand Prix of Antalya in Turkey. He outsprinted experienced European cyclists, achieving victory in 3 hours, 7 minutes, and 42 seconds. This marks the second UCI-classified race win for a Malaysian cyclist in Europe, following Mohd Harrif Salleh's victory in 2021. Other TSG members, Olympian Anatolii Budiak and Zuladri Amin Zulkarnain, also secured top-10 finishes.
PETALING JAYA: Terengganu Cycling Team’s Wan Abdul Rahman Hamdan sprang a surprise by winning the Grand Prix of Antalya in Turkiye on Saturday .
Abdul Rahman is only the second Malaysian cyclist to win a UCI-classified race in Europe after fellow TSG teammate Mohd Harrif Salleh.
