The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) are searching for a lorry driver involved in an accident on the Linkedua Highway on Friday (December 27) that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. According to Kulai District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Tan Seng Lee, police received a report at around 4:30pm about the collision between a Honda RS150R motorcycle and an unidentified lorry.
Initial investigations suggest the motorcyclist, a 30-year-old local man, tried to avoid the lorry in the right lane, causing him to lose control and hit the road divider. The impact resulted in severe head injuries, leading to the motorcyclist's death at the scene. The lorry driver reportedly fled the scene. Images circulating on WhatsApp groups depict the horrific extent of the accident, showing the victim's head detached from his body. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act (APJ) 1987. Anyone with information is urged to contact investigation officer Inspector Ahamd Safuan Abu Naim at 017-7573507 or visit the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division (BSPT) of the Kulai District Police Headquarters to assist in the investigations
