PETALING JAYA: Malaysia is no longer listed as a signatory in the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
The UN website detailing the status of the Rome Statute showed that Malaysia had been removed from the list of participants.
According to the May 15 notice, it said the UN secretary-general had received Wisma Putra’s notification of withdrawal on April 29. “Malaysia, therefore, is rescinding its letter of accession and that this withdrawal should take effect immediately.”
