Floods in nine states of Peninsular Malaysia have affected numerous schools, leading to the closure of around 109 primary and secondary schools in Terengganu and granting them a disaster leave from November 29. Minister of Education, Fadhlina Sidek, confirmed that SPM exams will proceed as scheduled. The Ministry of Education has also implemented the latest Distance Learning and Teaching Program (PdPR).

132 Sekolah Seluruh Negara Laksanakan PdPR Terkini, Kementerian Pendidikan telah melaksanakan sistem Pembelajaran dan Pengajaran di Rumah , terutamanya membabitkan calon peperiksan SPM. Azman telah menyantuni sekitar 99 calon peperiksaan SPM yang terkesan dengan banjir di Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tengku Mizan Zainal Abidin, Kuala Nerus, Terengganu pagi tadi .
Dia walau bagaimanapun berkata kesemua calon telah dibawa menggunakan pelbagai aset pasukan keselamatan untuk ke pusat peperiksaan dan tinggal di asrama sekolah.
