The Education Ministry will continue SPM Malay Language oral examinations in flood-hit states from Dec 4 to Dec 5, as advised by the National Disaster Management Agency and the Malaysian Meteorological Department. Preparations include collaboration with various agencies to ensure smooth conduct of exams.
The Education Ministry will continue with the 2024 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia ( SPM ) Malay Language oral examination in flood-affected states from tomorrow, following advice from the National Disaster Management Agency and forecasts from the Malaysian Meteorological Department . The examinations are scheduled to take place until Thursday, December 5. The Ministry is prepared to proceed with the examinations based on the standard operating procedures and Northeast Monsoon Action Plan.
Collaboration with agencies such as the National Disaster Management Agency, the Malaysian Armed Forces, and the Civil Defence Force will ensure the examinations proceed smoothly. A total of 5,377 SPM candidates from Kelantan, Terengganu, and Kedah have been identified as affected by the floods
