Major pipe burst in Sungai Dua water treatment plant
"PBAPP personnel are carrying out emergency response repair works on site.
"Updates and reports on the repairs will be posted accordingly," he said in a statement issued on Monday ."This mishap has caused the plant's output to drop by 21.5% . "It will cause low water pressure or unscheduled water supply interruption in certain areas that will potentially affect about 200,000 registered water consumers in central Seberang Prai, south Seberang Prai and the southern areas of Penang Island," he said.
