MACC probe into REE theft in Kedah unveils new leads, says Azam Baki

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has obtained new leads in its investigation into the theft of rare earth elements in Kedah, says its Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki .

"Investigations are ongoing into corruption, abuse of power and breach of trust against the persons and the enforcement agencies involved," he said when contacted on Friday . In July, the media reported that 10 state executive council members were called up to give statements to the MACC to assist in the investigation into the REE case.
