: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has obtained new leads in its investigation into the theft of rare earth elements in Kedah, said its Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam BakiHe said that in the course of its investigation, the MACC had also engaged the services of experts to determine, through laboratory tests, the quantity of and period of time that the REE is believed to have been stolen.
However, he declined to comment further on the matter for fear that it would hamper the investigation.
