A run of blockbuster luxury sales in the Queensland hotspot shows why the Noosa prestige market is likely to retain the bulk of its pandemic price gains.

“There’s a continuing shortage of supply, with some areas like Noosa Sound it’s a case of one property on, one property off,” he says, adding 2023 is showing few signs of a slowdown. Last month prestige international real estate brand Sothebys set up shop in Noosa Junction with 10 staff and counting. Queensland Sotheby’s CEO Paul Arthur believes the elite holiday destination’s surging popularity has breached national borders.

“In the end we couldn’t part with our pride and joy,” Stefanovic says. “I love the surf side of Noosa. I love the national park walk between Sunshine and Noosa. I love having a beer in both surf clubs before and after the walk. Mostly, though, the people are wonderful. ”
