The Ramblers’ 11-0 run was greatly assisted by the defense forcing four quick turnovers. The Ramblers kept the same energy all throughout the game, forcing 15 turnovers from the Braves. Fresh off of becoming the sixth player in league history to be named Defensive Player of the Year in back to back seasons, Williamson put together another impressive showing, leading the Ramblers with 3 steals.
The Ramblers pressured the Braves all game long, holding them to just 31.4% from the field overall.After missing the last eight games due to injury, junior Marquise Kennedy checked in for the first time since February 2nd. The guard shook off the rust early, providing a spark off the bench. In seventeen minutes of action, Kennedy came through for 9 points. He also contributed on the defensive end, collecting 3 rebounds along with 2 steals.
