The platform has already facilitated dialogue on several key community issues. When a resident named Carrie asked about the Broadway Commons project, Safety/Service Director Rey Carrion posted a video providing details about the 62-unit supportive housing development for the homeless, noting that CHN Housing Partners is working to secure $20 million in funding.
In Kushner’s video response, he said that the city’s “ultimate goal is to hold the former steel mills accountable and prepare the sites for redevelopment.”
