Killen's BBQ, a favorite Pearland destination for foodies throughout the region, has made the Houston Chronicle's 2022 list of Top 100 Restaurants in the Greater Houston area.
Chef Ronnie Killen started out with a small barbecue joint in Pearland and then expanded with restaurants throughout the Houston area including in Houston,
, so it is fitting that his contemporary barbecue place at 3613 E. Broadway in Pearland made the Chronicle list. Chronicle food team says that Killen"serves one of the city's best Texas Trinity of brisket, pork ribs and house-made sausage." The team also highlights his Tex-Mex-inspired menu which includes brisket nachos, tacos and quesadillas.
Motorists passing the restaurant can often see a line of eager diners waiting outside under the giant oaks. If you can't decide what to order, the food team suggests the moist and lean brisket, beef ribs, turkey, pork belly burnt ends, brisket queso and banana pudding.
