The Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau is collaborating with more than a dozen local restaurants and Houston Food Finder for a new charity dining event that will feature specialty meals from Nov. 7-20.
All participating restaurants are volunteering time and efforts, with marketing dollars provided by the bureau.
Each participating restaurant will provide its own menu. The list of participating restaurants and the specialty menus will"One of the best parts of an event like this is seeing what dishes each restaurant decides to highlight," said Rebekah Burns, the bureau's marketing manager. "In the end, it's about supporting local, meeting your neighbors and eating good food provided by people that are passionate about what they do," said Wong."I'm hoping to see word about Pearland Restaurant Weeks reach far and wide and that we have a successful first year. That way we can continue this wonderful event year after year!"
