Lokman in bid to set aside A-G’s contempt proceedings

LOKMAN Noor Adam will file an application to set aside the leave obtained by the attorney-general to initiate committal proceedings against him for allegedly intimidating a witness in former prime minister Najib Razak’s 1Malaysia Development Bhd trial. Lawyer Muhammad Farhan Muhammad Shafee, representing the Umno Supreme Council member, told high court judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah during case management today that the application will be filed by next Friday.
