KUALA LUMPUR: Umno Supreme Council member Lokman Noor Adam will be filing an application to set aside a High Court order allowing the public prosecutor to initiate committal proceedings against him for allegedly threatening a witness in Najib Razak’s 1MDB trial.
“The defence is challenging the manner in which this contempt proceeding was taken to court,” he said. Amhari, who was Najib’s former special officer, had testified in his former boss’ 1MDB trial on abuse of power and money laundering from Sept 3 to Sept 23.
