Bersatu chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that this was because out of the 52 seats contested by candidates from the party, only 13 seats were won by the party. Also present at the dinner were Dr Mahathir’s wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali; Bersatu Deputy President Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir; Vice-President Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman and Datuk Abdul Rashid Ansari; Armada Youth leader Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman and other party leaders.
