ANSWER: I made the right decision because I was unable to accept what was happening then. I felt it would be wrong for me to carry on serving the police force. So, I decided to retire, in all sincerity. Then, I felt that it was no longer necessary for me to be in the public eye. I did not give any indication that I was interested in the affairs of the nation.
