When Mr. Ghosn, the former chairman of Nissan Motor Co., was arrested again over fresh suspicions on April 4, Japanese prosecutors confiscated communications with his overseas lawyers in a raid of his Tokyo apartment, said lead defense lawyer Junichiro Hironaka.
