Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) signed on Tuesday, April, 18, a memorandum of agreement (MOA) on sustainable livelihood programs. ManilaBulletin

The signing of MOA on specific implementation and data sharing agreements on sustainable livelihood programs was held at the Mayor’s Office.

Aguilar represented the city government while Atty. Michael Joseph Lorico acted for the DSWD-National Capital Region during the signing of MOA.Welfare Development officer-in-charge Lowefe Romulo. According to Aguilar, the sustainable livelihood programs are social protection programs that aim to enhance the socio-economic status of target beneficiaries through the provision of livelihood projects in the city.

Aguilar said with the signed agreement, the DSWD-NCR and the city government can work efficiently in properly implementing various sustainable livelihood modalities in the community.
