MIRI: A road at the Matang Wildlife Centre in southern Sarawak here was blocked after bad weather caused a landslide.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department in its updates on Sunday said both lanes of the road were blocked.
"The hill slope on the side collapsed and resulted in soil movement that brought down big volumes of soil that covered the road."There are houses located about 80m from the erosion site," the department said.The state is facing many problems due to the rainy season. Over the past two weeks, floods have occurred in many districts statewide due to the incessant rain.
