KUALA LUMPUR: Pertubuhan Kemanusiaan Masyarakat Antarabangsa Malaysia (MHO) mendesak Pihak Berkuasa Perkhidmatan Kewangan Labuan (Labuan FSA) mengambil tindakan di bawah peruntukan jenayah terhadap sebuah syarikat broker yang disyaki menawarkan skim pelaburan mata wang asing (Forex) tidak sah sehingga kerugian mencecah RM104 juta.
KUALA LUMPUR: Pertubuhan Kemanusiaan Masyarakat Antarabangsa Malaysia mendesak Pihak Berkuasa Perkhidmatan Kewangan Labuan mengambil tindakan di bawah peruntukan jenayah terhadap sebuah syarikat broker yang disyaki menawarkan skim pelaburan mata wang asing tidak sah sehingga kerugian mencecah RM104 juta.
“Perdagangan Forex di negara ini tidak dibenarkan membuat tawaran kepada orang awam kerana ia hanya boleh dijalankan oleh syarikat-syarikat yang dilesenkan oleh Bank Negara. Sementara itu, seorang mangsa dikenali sebagai Tan, 33, berkata, dia telah melabur dalam syarikat terbabit setelah diajak rakannya pada 2016.
“Bagaimanapun, syarikat itu gagal memberikan pulangan sejak 2023 dan memberikan alasan berpunca daripada masalah perbankan.
