If a picture’s worth a thousand words, stunning archival photographs of Hollywood icons like Cher, Audrey Hepburn, and Jane Birkin might just render one speechless. On Thursday night, the Los Angeles outpost of the Morrison Hotel Gallery welcomed guests to its newest photography exhibition featuring work from the likes of Edward Steichen, George Hoyningen-Heune, John Rawlings, and Bert Stern.
Menswear designer John Varvatos and storied photographer Timothy White hosted guests at the Sunset Marquis hotel for the unveiling of the exhibition. Together, White and Conde Nast Corporate Photography Director Ivan Shaw curated the exclusive collection of 30 photographs from the Conde Nast archive—each chosen for its impact on photography and the culture at large.
The evening’s DJ, Dana Boulos, kept the party going when the crowd headed poolside. There, guests discussed the star-studded artwork and mingled over cocktails from Villa One Tequila. Though the party had to come to an end, the exhibition is here to stay—if only temporarily at the gallery and
