Program konservasi yang diadakan di Sulaman Lake Forest baru- baru ini melibatkan Jabatan Pelancongan dan Hospitaliti PKK dengan kolaborasi Sabah Wetlands Conservation Society menerusi tanggungjawab sosial korporat. Daily Express Malaysia Bertemakan ‘JPH-PKK Peduli Alam: Semarak Kesukarelawanan Melalui Konservasi Paya Bakau’, program tersebut telah diselaras oleh Pensyarah Kanan JPH, Meltina Masanti dan Pegawai Konservasi dan Sains daripada Sabah Wetlands Conservation Society, Mohd Aniq Yadiy Mohd Tajuddin.
Menurut Meltina, program ini diadakan untuk menyumbang kepada usaha konservasi paya bakau disamping memenuhi keperluan dalam Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia 2015-2025 – Pendidikan Tinggi khususnya dalam menghasilkan graduan holistik, berciri keusahawanan, dan seimbang serta mendukung inisiatif Matlamat Pembangunan Lestari.
