Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has said security agencies in the state were making frantic efforts to rescue abducted students of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara. He promised to review ongoing security operations within and around the institution to ensure the speedy rescue of abducted students.

He, however, assured that those behind the ugly incident will be brought to book. “We cannot rule out internal sabotage in this operation because the school is fully equipped with CCTV cameras, how come they could not capture the attack when it happened? “What is most important to us right now is the rescue of the abducted students and we will not rest until this is achieved as soon as possible.
