Kogi gov, Ododo storms Yahaya Bello’s residence as EFCC lays siege [VIDEO]

Kogi State Governor Usman Udodo on Wednesday visited his predecessor, Yahaya Bello in his Abuja residence. Ododo stormed Bello's residence in the Wuse Zone 4 area of Abuja following a siege by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. EFCC had stormed Bello's residence in an attempt to arrest him following an ongoing investigation.

The anti-graft agency recently named Bello in an ongoing corruption case but is yet to formally charge him. Bello’s nephew, Ali Bello, and his associate, Dauda Suleiman, the two defendants in the case, were accused of diverting funds belonging to Kogi State. But in the newly introduced count, the two defendants in the case were accused of conspiring with Bello to convert the total sum of N80.
