The Beaufort district officer said a total of 50 personnel, including EC staff, and 65 observers from various agencies would be deployed on the nomination day. "We have held a meeting with the representatives from Parti Warisan Sabah and Barisan Nasional as well as the police."At the same time, I hope the representatives will ensure that candidates check their own nomination form to ensure accuracy of the information provided,” he said.
The nomination centre, located at Dewan Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Mohd Dun Banir in Beaufort will be open at 9am and closed about one hour later.Early voting for the by-election will take place on Jan 14 followed by polling day on Jan 18.
