KOTA KINABALU: A man has claimed trial to a charge of having an imitation gun at the Magistrate’s Court here on Friday (Feb 17).

According to the charge sheet, the accused, who hailed from Kampung Bingkor in the Keningau interior district, was stopped by policemen from the Sabah police headquarters crime intelligence unit at Damai Plaza here at 1.30am on Feb 8.

A police operations uniform and a volunteer policeman warrant card were also found in the accused's possession.
