Kelantan plans million-man dikir barat show
With Kelantan's average population of 1.6 million, a dikir barat performance by a million people is possible, says the state Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry director. – AFP pic, June 23, 2019.
THE Kelantan Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry said it is planning a Malaysia Book of Records entry for a dikir barat performance by a million people. Director Aidil Afizie Daud said the performance is expected to take place at end-October, in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2020, either at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium or villages statewide.
