“Ia adalah permintaan perdana menteri bagi membincangkan kaedah pelaksanaan dan jumlah peruntukan tertentu secara lebih teliti untuk atasi masalah air di Kelantan. Beliau juga berkata perancangan untuk mengatasi masalah pembekalan air bersih di Kelantan melibatkan dua fasa dengan yang pertama pembinaan takungan air pinggiran sungai di Machang untuk jangka pendek yang sudah diluluskan sebanyak RM630 juta menerusi Rancangan Malaysia Ke-12.
