Kedah to revise assessment rates, says Mukhriz
Kedah Menteri Besar Mukhriz Mahathir says the state government will be revising local council assessment rates, unchanged since 1993, to make more funds available to improve local services. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 7, 2020.
THE Kedah government will be revising assessment rates in view of the growth in population and several other factors, said Menteri Besar Mukhriz Mahathir. He said the last revision was in 1993, adding that there was also a need to improve the services of local authorities.
