Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor and his family were forced to move due to severe flooding at their official residence in Kedah. The floods were caused by the overflow of Sungai Anak Bukit.

Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor and his family were forced to relocate to a safer place after floodwaters inundated his official residence in Seri Mentaloon . The water level had been rising since the morning, reaching nearly one metre by evening as Sungai Anak Bukit overflowed its banks. Special media officer Helmi Khalid stated that the Menteri Besar decided to move to a safer place earlier in the afternoon.

Muhammad Sanusi was seen carrying his daughter out of the residence due to the water level reaching his waist, while his wife and other children were seen carrying and lifting belongings out of the residence. The two-storey official residence had been flooded since the morning of Friday, Nov 29, and is located less than 100 metres from the banks of Sungai Anak Bukit
