Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md. Nor, Menteri Besar of Kedah, addresses criticism regarding BZI's decision to pull out of the RM40 billion Langkasuka project in Langkawi. He clarifies that the withdrawal was previously announced on Bursa Malaysia and that the state government was not responsible for the investment nor its publicization.
ALOR SETAR: Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md. Nor menempelak pihak tertentu termasuk segelintir ahli politik yang menyalahkan kerajaan negeri berhubung keputusan Bin Zayed International Group of Companies , menarik diri daripada projek Langkasuka bernilai RM40 bilion di Langkawi.
“Ada pula yang marah saya dalam hal ini padahal saya bukan ada kaitan dengan BZI. Saya tidak kenal pun mereka malah projek kerjasama antara BZI dengan Widad Business Group Sdn. Bhd. diumumkan Perdana Menteri ketika itu di Kuala Lumpur, bukan di Kedah. Mengulas lanjut Muhammad Sanusi berkata, kerajaan negeri tidak menanggung sebarang kerugian daripada tindakan BZI tersebut.
