A renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Yusuf Ali , passed away on Sunday night at the age of 73.
Sheikh Ali began his legal career in 1974 as a Sharia Court Scribe, rising through the ranks to become Chief Clerk, Assistant Registrar, Registrar, Upper Sharia Court Judge, and Director at the Upper Sharia Court.His funeral rites will take place at Murtala Mosque, Tudun Maliki quarters, by 1:30 p.m. on Monday .Senate Moves to Shield REC Appointees from Court Injunction, Holds Emergency Session
