As shared by our sister site Lobak Merah, over the past week or so, many Malaysians have complained online about how their digital driving license (e-LMM) on the My JPJ app has the face of a completely different individual or that the face and information on the e-LMM don’t match.
JPJ confirms the technical issue and assures no data breach took place In a statement today, JPJ said that it is aware of the incident and apologises to those affected by the issue. However, the department clarified that the issue happened not because of hacking or a cybersecurity breach but because of the large-scale system maintenance JPJ performed on the MyJPJ system to ensure its sustainability.
