SINGAPORE and Malaysia hope to make joint announcements in the next week or two on their maritime border dispute, reportsActing Transport Minister Vivian Balakrishnan was quoted as saying in Parliament yesterday that the countries have made “reasonable progress” in their discussions, and announcements could come from him and Malaysian Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah.
