Find out why this man from Johor wants to remove his sister's name from a joint property:
Not long ago, a man from Johor Bahru wrote on a Facebook group requesting legal advice. In short, he wants to know how he can remove someone’s name on a joint house contract through legal means or other means. And what’s ridiculous is the reason he gave for asking this — he simply did not want to live with his sister after he gets married.According to the post, the man is actually an older brother with a younger sister.
For this reason, the man asked the sister to find a house she can afford outside as he did not want to sit around and wait till the day the sister decides to move out after getting married. As expected, the sister is unwilling to do so, which resulted in them arguing. The brother then took this issue online and ended his post by asking,Shortly after the post went live, it immediately received a lot of criticisms from netizens.
