JOHOR BARU: All 13 district police headquarters in Johor are conducting daily operations against gambling, including online gambling activities, as part of the efforts by the police to eradicate the menace, says state police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat.
He added every OCPD in the state has also given his full cooperation on the matter based on the daily reports being sent.
“We are also closely monitoring our personnel under the Criminal Investigation Department to ensure that they are taking serious action on every case they come across,” he added. He was speaking to reporters after the Johor Police Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House at the state police headquarters here on Thursday .
