JOHOR BARU: Five districts in Johor are showing signs of recovery except for Batu Pahat, which is still recording an increase in the number of evacuees.
In a statement, the State Disaster Management Committee said that as of 8pm on Thursday , there are a total of 43,856 evacuees at 174 active temporary relief centres .
"Batu Pahat has the highest number of evacuees with 36,508 individuals from 10,443 families currently seeking shelter at 110 active PPS. "However, the other five flood affected districts are recording a decrease in the number of evacuees at their respective PPS," the statement said.Article type: free
