Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, the Johor Mentri Besar, highlighted the task force 's success in expediting high-impact projects across the state, particularly those focused on flood prevention.

Launched last year, the task force has been actively collaborating with various ministries to streamline the implementation process and prevent any potential delays.Onn Hafiz explained that the task force's efforts have resulted in the completion of flood mitigation projects being moved from 2029 to 2027. He emphasized that the task force's primary objective is to ensure the timely execution of major infrastructure projects, encompassing roads, drainage and irrigation systems, as well as hospitals, recognizing their substantial impact on the well-being of Johoreans. He further elaborated that the Jom Jelajah Johor program, launched at Kompleks Penghulu Serkat on Sunday (February 9), aims to amplify the benefits of Johor's robust economic development and ensure that every citizen directly experiences the positive outcomes of state initiatives. Onn Hafiz stressed that the program serves as a platform for the public to engage with their local leaders and gain a deeper understanding of the state's development plans
