JAKARTA : Indonesia secara rasmi melarang penjualan rokok batang secara runcit, dalam satu peraturan baharu yang diluluskan Presiden, Joko Widodo .

Menurut Perkara 434 , setiap orang dilarang menjual produk tembakau dan rokok elektronik dalam bentuk batang, kecuali untuk cerut dan rokok elektronik. Walaupun undang-undang itu mengehadkan penjualan produk rokok melalui laman web, aplikasi elektronik dan media sosial, Perkara 434 menyatakan bahawa penjualan melalui medium tersebut dibenarkan apabila pembeli mengesahkan mereka berumur 21 tahun ke atas.
