Malaysia’s badminton women’s doubles team Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan solidified their place as a winning duo by moving into the quarter-finals of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
This comes after they defeated Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Apriyani Rahayu from Indonesia in Group A of the Group Play Stage at the Aréna Porte de La Chapelle. The duo had initially lost to China’s Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan in the first round but managed to win against Japan’s Mayu Matsumoto and Wakana Nagahara in the second round.
Pearly and Thinaah’s move to the quarter-final is also thanks to China’s women’s double duo winning against Japan’s women’s double team. What do you think about this?
