State Immigration Department director Anirwan Fauzee Mohd Aini said the illegal activity was uncovered when its officers raided several budget hotels in Taman Melaka Raya here between 9.45pm on Friday and 2am on Saturday .
"The women charged a fee between RM230 and RM270 per client for providing sex services," he said on Saturday .Anirwan Fauzee said during the operation involving 74 of his men, the raiding team were forced to break open some of the room doors after the women refused to open them.Anirwan Fauzee said the suspects were being probed under the Immigration Act 1959/63.
