President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has charged Muslim faithful in the country and in the Diaspora to be inspired by Prophet Muhammad's virtues of harmony, love, and service to humanity as they celebrate his birthday.
President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio , has charged Muslim faithful in the country and in the Diaspora to be inspired by Prophet Muhammad's virtues of harmony, love, and service to humanity as they celebrate his birthday. Akpabio made the call in a message to celebrate Muslims on the feast of Eid el Maulud, signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh.
Speaking on this year's Eid el Maulud celebration in Ilorin, the state capital, the governor said Prophet Muhammad's prophethood offered unique guidance and blessings to the world. He thanked Allah for His mercies upon Muslims and the light that Islam represents for the human community. Governor Abdulrazaq further asked Allah to expand His blessings upon Prophet Muhammad, his household, his companions, and all of us.
