Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has sounded a stark warning to Nigerians, forecasting severe economic hardship under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He also projected sharp increases in the prices of everyday items such as bread, bottled water, and even groundnuts. “In the coming days, if the government doesn’t do what is necessary, I foresee a bag of rice being sold for N120,000, beans costing N200,000, a loaf of bread for N5,000, bottled water reaching N400, and biscuits at N500 per piece.The prophet also issued a grim forecast for the price of eggs, warning that a crate could soon exceed N7,000.
