My getting-dressed for work routine has certainly been simplified over the past few months. To make a long story short, I have been WFH from my parents’ house—somewhere I did not think I would be stuck under lockdown for almost three months now. As a result, my work wardrobe has consisted of only the handful of pieces that I brought with me in my suitcase.

A smart person would pack basics to travel with—yet I, for some reason, chose to pack my loudest printed shirts. I have been wearing them every day to clock in, as though it is a classic black blazer. Every sunrise, I slip on one of these
