that at least one part of Southeast Texas was under either a heat advisory or an excessive heat warning, according to the National Weather Service in League City. Based on current forecasts, it looks like the streak will eventually encompass a full two-week period.DANGEROUS HEAT will persist across SE TX throughout the weekend and on through most of next week as temperatures rise. More Heat Advisories will be needed, and Excessive Heat Warnings are quite possible.
