Singer Sharifah Aisha Retno Sayed Sipulijam has a mini zoo at home, raising over 30 cats of various breeds.
Becoming a cat lover certainly requires many sacrifices, especially in terms of time and finances. Indeed, the cost of expenses for the cute 'employer' can reach hundreds or thousands of ringgit. However, it's not strange if some are willing to spend more for the 'fur' they love because in some way, the presence of the animal can color the life of the owner.
Like someone with the full name Sharifah Aisha Retno Sayed Sipulijam, her interest in fur since childhood has made her raise more than 30 cats in her house. 'I like raising cats. Supposedly there are 40, after giving to people, now my cats are left with 30 only. I spend a lot of time with the cats, if there are no work commitments. I started raising cats since I was little. But the one that really raises especially the same breed from the age of 15,' she told Pancaindera. The singer who is of mixed Malay, Arab, and Javanese blood said she has about five cat breeds including stray cats that are picked up and well cared for in her house. 'Most of the cats I have are adopted cats. Actually, I don't just take them from 'adoption centers'. Initially, my cats only had two cats but they reproduced after I mated them with friends' cats. All the cats I have only stay at home. After reproducing, my house is like a mini zoo. I even have a small room to accommodate them. I have five breeds: Persian, short hair, British short hair, Scottish fold, and there are also stray cats that I rescued,' she explained. Asked if she faced challenges, Aisha admitted to having limitations in terms of finances because she needs to spend wisely to raise the animals healthy
