According to HPD, around 5 p.m., a K-9 unit had a hit for possible explosives in an unattended bag near the Alamo reservation counter near Carousel Three in the baggage claim area.
Police then established a 300-foot perimeter around the scene. The area was also evacuated for safety.HPD’s Bomb Squad said the scene was later cleared and no explosives were found.Moriah Ballard joined the KPRC 2 digital team in the fall of 2021.
